Am I eligible for NIOS?

The NIOS program focuses on helping the rural/urban poor, girls and women, underprivileged and minority sections of society, people with special needs, and school dropouts. You are eligible for the NIOS program if you are any of these: A child between the ages of 6 and 14, who has either never been to school, dropped out, is a member of a marginalised group or has special needs. An adolescent or adult above the age of 14 who has never been to school or dropped out.
